Launch of Little Bolton Townscape Heritage Initiative

Over 100 people including The Mayor and Mayoress of Bolton attended the launch event for the Little Bolton Townscape Heritage Initiative which took place on 10th January 2007. It was an occasion for all the property owners and tenants in the area to find out more about the grant funding programme, the importance of preserving the unique character of the area, and the grant application process.

Presentations were made following the presentations from Gavin Richards the THI Co-ordinator, Edmund Southworth from the Heritage Lottery Fund, and Alan Gardner, a local historic buildings consultant. The attendees were given the opportunity to ask questions and be one of the first to pick up a grant application pack.
